BOTIM Launches The First Ever Money On Chat Service admin February 24, 2023

Last night, Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa lit up to celebrate Astra Tech’s (Astra), BOTIM, and MoneyGram’s newly announced collaboration. The world’s tallest building featured Astra’s efforts by highlighting its recently announced collaboration with MoneyGram, a leading global financial technology company. The feature will now allow BOTIM’s user base of over 100 million people to send money in real-time to over 155 countries and territories worldwide over chat. The feature has already gained traction with thousands of users since its launch.

The world’s tallest building lighting ceremony marked the launch of the #BOTIMONBURJ campaign, celebrating BOTIM’s growth and evolution as it expands to reach over 100 million users in 155 countries, connecting billions of people through its platform. With its international money transfer feature through MoneyGram, BOTIM is going Ultra.

The new service allows users to transfer funds instantly to their bank accounts, mobile wallets, and over 400,000 cash pick-up locations across countries like India, Pakistan, Morocco, Uganda, South Africa, and the USA. BOTIM’s fintech services are powered by Payby Technology Projects LLC, a licensed entity that is supervised and regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE.

Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Co-Founder and CEO of Astra Tech, BOTIM’s parent company, said:
“We are thrilled to launch this all-new chat-enabled fund transfer feature that will change the lifestyle of our users and provide them with a fast, secure, and convenient way to send money internationally. Our partnership with MoneyGram is a significant step towards empowering our users to lead better lives.”

Astra Tech is a UAE-based technology development and investment company that acquired BOTIM earlier this year. It has since been rapidly transforming the VoIP app’s capabilities to serve as the base of its Ultra app, which is set to launch in the first half of 2023.
