Panasonic Highlights Innovations In Immersive Entertainment, Smart Mobility, Sustainability And More At CES 2021 admin January 12, 2021

Panasonic raises the bar again with innovations that offer 360-degree immersive gaming and entertainment experience, make homes sustainable and safer to live in, and roads safer with autonomous smart mobility, at this year’s all-digital Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2021) happening from 11 to 14 January 2021. The brand’s highly interactive exhibits focus on six key discovery areas including, Entertainment, Smart Mobility/Automotive, Sustainability, Wellness, Lifestyle, and Food Retail – highlighting how the company moving the world forward to create a better world. 

Panasonic Tech Talks

After the huge success last year, PanasonicTech Talks is back this year with brightest minds, technology experts and partners to deliver interesting insights and inspire thought on emerging trends shaping industries and the society. Among notable faces include, Olympians Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky, Sakura Kokumai, and Lex Gilletteas they look back at the challenges of 2020 and look ahead to 2021. President of Panasonic Automotive, Scott Kirchner will explore augmented reality application in safer, intuitive driving, while Nicole Pike of YouGov Esports & Gaming and Celina Mikolajczak of Panasonic Energy of North America will talk about remote learning, affordable electric vehicles, EV batteries etc.

Smart Mobility

Panasonic is defining the future of transportation with Augmented Reality (AR), Head Up Display (HUD), connected data platform CIRRUS and other innovative technologies and sustainable solutions. The brand with its global leadership in EV battery manufacturing will showcase its eco-friendly transportation innovations. The company’s new Augmented Reality (AR) and Head Up Display (HUD)utilizes Panasonic’s latest advances in optics, volume optimization, and imaging technology.  These coupled with AI technology from our SPYDR cockpit domain controller render near-field and far-field content for vehicle information (like speed), object and pedestrian detection, and mapping/route guidance, for a seamless, more engaged and informed driver experience. Other technologies like Wi-Fi Camera, in-vehicle wireless charging technology, and immersive sound systems (with Klipsch ® and Dolby Atmos ® Music) are on display. The winner of a CES 2020 Innovation Award in Vehicle Intelligence & Transportation, CIRRUS by Panasonic ® and smart vehicle technology OneConnect ® offer predictive and intuitive connected vehicle control by optimising, assisting and connecting vehicles, fleets and peace of mind.

Immersive Experiences

Panasonic’s agenda for the CES 2021 is filled with exciting events including an exclusive immersive concert experience featuring indie rock band Cold War Kids on January 12 at 3:30 EST, filmed at the dynamic AREA15 complex in Las Vegas.The immersive entertainment area will also feature Panasonic’s Pro AV solutions with Illuminarium’s 360-degree immersive experiential entertainment centres. The centres are created in collaboration with experiential entertainment brand Illuminarium Experiences showing off its 4K projectors, 4K displays and 4K professional cameras. The centres provide visitors with communal, connective entertainment meant to be enjoyed as a shared human experience. The Brand will also showcase its AV solutions for Tokyo 2020. The products being highlighted include PTZ Camera, VR Glasses, Lumix ®, Technics ®, and more.

Ensuring Sustainable Future

CES also sets the stage for Panasonic to highlight its commitment to sustainability with a slew of products that enhance alternative energy usage, healthy air quality, and alternative building materials for home sector. The company will showcase its industry-leading solar panels and batteries for sustainable energy, as well as indoor air quality system Cosmos™ and innovative building material Glavenir ®, a Vacuum Insulated Glass and Insulation Panels.

Enhancing Home Entertainment

Panasonic will unveil its flagship OLED TV JZ2000 and the new Panasonic nanoe™ Hair Dryer (EH-NA67-W) that features oscillating quick-dry nozzle. The brand’s home solutions at CES range from professional-grade esports gears, 4K DSLMs ideal for drones, and best of Kitchen Gadgets. Visitors will be able to check out the updates from Lumix, Technics and more. Panasonic is exhibiting the SoundSlayer™ Gaming Speaker (SC-HTB01), which is also a

CES ® 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree. Designed in collaboration with SQUARE ENIX ® Co., Ltd., the SoundSlayer enhances the gaming experience for full audio immersion into a player’s favourite games. Also displayed is Technics ® True Wireless headphones. Meanwhile, renowned YouTube creators, The Try Guys will prepare the ultimate snack using the four versatile functions provided by the Panasonic NN-CD87KS HOME CHEF™ 4-in-1 Countertop Multi-Oven.

In addition, Panasonic also unveiled other new innovations, among them: Cosmos™ innovative indoor air quality system, which works automatically in the background to remove contaminated air and bring in fresh, filtered air from outside. Aura, the latest in meditation technology from Panasonic Future Life Factory and Product Analysis Centre.  Food Services solution – point-of-sale devices, self-ordering kiosks and drive-thru systems. And merchandising, energy-efficient refrigeration for food retail.
