Cisco Live attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the SolarWinds monitoring tools demonstrated by Adato and Giese at the SolarWinds Showcase. These tools include:

  • NetPath– a feature in SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and Network Configuration Manager (NCM), uses advanced probing to detect the network path (or paths) from a source computer to a destination service, even when traceroute can’t. It can help determine if an organization’s software as a service (SaaS) is performing as expected.
  • PerfStack–a feature in the SolarWinds OrionPlatform, is a flexible tool designed for complex troubleshooting and allows manual correlation of disparate data driven by the user. It can help automatically visualize a network, both logically and physically.
  • OrionMaps– a troubleshooting feature in the SolarWinds Orion Platform, displays a map of physical and logical relationships between entities monitored by installed Orion Platform products. It quickly helps isolate and identify critical health and performance issues and shows metrics from relevant sources in a time-synchronized display.

Together, these monitoring tools can help IT pros monitor newly implemented technologies using conventional network monitoring techniques.
