U.S.’s Mimecast data security appoints channel director for Middle East and Africa admin December 13, 2016

Mimecast Limited (NASDAQ: MIME), a leading email and data security company, today announced an executive appointment to strengthen its leadership team. Jason Roos joins Mimecast from Dimension Data, as the new Channel Director and will lead the channel teams in Middle East and Africa.

“Our channel partners play an essential role in how we support our customers and expand our business into new verticals and markets,” commented Brandon Bekker, Managing Director of Mimecast Middle East and Africa. “Having Jason on-board will bolster our existing channel relationships and establish new partnerships across the Middle East and Africa. Especially as organizations continue to migrate their on-premise email environments to cloud services like Office 365®.”

Jason brings 12 years of experience in the ICT industry, leading high-impact sales teams across the country, across all verticals. He will manage all partner and alliance based engagements, and is tasked with establishing a renewed, energised channel program. In his previous role as Executive of Sales at Internet Solutions, he managed 13 sales teams across SME, Channel, Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts andheld several sales leadership roles. Jason also spent three years in New York working in the Cisco channel with a Cisco Gold partner.
