Strengthening its footprint in the mobile payment market in Oman, this expansion enables eFloos users to make transactions for various products and services available across the country via mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new agreements have been signed with Carrefour, Tim Horton\u2019s, Ajmal Perfumes, Argan Gold, Baskin Robbins, Kargeen, Begums, Lunar Cinema, Moorish, Oman Phones, Ravenna Kunafa, Cleopatra, Subway and Caribou Coffee. As per the agreements, the registered merchant groups will offer eFloos as a payment mode at their various stores across Oman<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis agreement further establishes our commitment of boosting the country\u2019s ever-growing digitisation efforts. With an addition of new business groups to our mobile payment gateway, eFloos customers now have access to over 461 businesses and an easy payment method across the country,\u201d said Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer of Sohar International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further added: \u201cThrough the use of eFloos, businesses can now bridge the digitisation gap they have faced previously. Helping them reach out to today\u2019s digitally savvy customers, and hence expanding their overall customer base.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By providing a smooth transactional experience, a mobile payment like eFloos reflects the bank\u2019s brand attributes of providing more vision, more value, and more velocity to its customers. eFloos digital wallet is a unique mobile payment service that empowers smartphone users to conduct transactions at any of the bank\u2019s partner merchants, as well as includes the feature of sending and receiving funds to and from other wallets. Fuelled by the sultanate\u2019s exponential adoption of smartphones and mobile internet usage, through products and services such as eFloos, Sohar International aims to foster a global mobile payment ecosystem in Oman.
