In Colorado, couples don’t need a licensed marriage official to officiate ceremonies. Hence, the father of the bride, Stephen, came up with a brilliant and cost-effective idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With help from OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT, Wiench and Truitt tied the knot in a heartwarming ceremony last month. The videos and pictures from the unique wedding caught people’s attention as the AI chatbot guided the proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to several reports, the chatbot was hesitant at first to conduct the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It said ‘no’ at first. ‘I can’t do this, I don’t have eyes, I don’t have a body. I can’t officiate at your wedding,'” Wiench was quoted as saying to CBS Colorado. The couple persisted and provided personal information about themselves to the chatbot, which was then incorporated into ChatGPT’s speech during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is not the first time that an AI chatbot was used for something unusual like this. Recently, a woman shared that her long-time client terminated the contract after discovering she was using a ChatGPT-like AI for content creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
