ChatGPT\u2019s archiving feature allows you to remove any chat from the sidebar with just a couple of taps. You can easily use this handy feature to hide chat sessions from the main screen. Follow the steps mentioned down below if you want to hide ChatGPT chats on the Web:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to chat.openai.com<\/li>
  2. Log in with your OpenAI account.<\/li>
  3. Choose the chat you want to hide from the sidebar<\/li>
  4. Click on the ellipsis (\u2026)<\/strong> button next to it<\/li>
  5. Select Archive chat<\/strong> from the context menu. The selected chat will disappear from the sidebar immediately.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to View Your Hidden ChatGPT Chats on the Web?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If you want to access a hidden chat or want to unarchive a conversation, you can follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on your OpenAI account name in the bottom-left corner of the ChatGPT page.<\/li>
    2. Choose Settings<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/li>
    3. Click Manage<\/strong> next to Archived chats<\/strong>.<\/li>
    4. You can simply click on the name of the chat to view a hidden one.<\/li>
    5. Click the Unarchive conversation<\/strong> button to unhide a chat.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to Hide ChatGPT Chats on Your iPhone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      ChatGPT\u2019s mobile app is available for iOS users. It allows you to archive chats. Here\u2019s how to hide your ChatGPT chats on iPhones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Open ChatGPT App on your iPhone<\/li>
        2. Sign in with your OpenAI account<\/li>
        3. Swipe right on the chat screen to display the sidebar<\/li>
        4. Long-press on the conversation you want to hide<\/li>
        5. select Archive<\/strong> from the context menu<\/li>
        6. When asked to confirm, tap Archive<\/strong> again <\/li>
        7. If you don\u2019t see the Archive<\/strong> option, just update your app.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          How to View Hidden ChatGPT Chats on iPhones?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Go to ChatGPT\u2019s settings menu to access your archived chats. Follow the steps mentioned down below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Tap the ellipsis (\u2026)<\/strong> button next to your account name in the sidebar.<\/li>
          2. Select Archived Chats (You can find it under the Account section of the settings menu)<\/li>
          3. Tap on the hidden chat<\/li>
          4. Select View<\/strong> if you want to read it<\/li>
          5. You can also \u201cUnarchive\u201d it to bring the chat back to the sidebar.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
